Gaga is a movement language developed by Ohad Naharin, rooted in deep body activation and heightened physical sensations. Classes are guided by rich, imaginative instructions that stimulate creativity and layer information to create a multisensory, physically engaging experience. Gaga provides a workout that enhances flexibility, stamina, agility, coordination and movement efficiency. It invites participants to explore form, speed, and effort while playfully investigating textures, delicacy, and explosive power, as well as many "over-the-top" qualities. Ohad Naharin continuously refines his movement language, ensuring that the classes evolve and adapt over time.
The workshop will be held by Béatrice Larrivée, winner of the 1st prize for choreography and the 2nd prize for dance at the 29th International Solo Dance Theater Festival Stuttgart.
